Harvest report Rheingau Estate 2005


Growing seasonIn 2005 we had a relatively early florescence and a warm and dry summer above the average. The calm and dry weather in fall gave us the time to harvest selection by selections by hand.

Must weight: 85° Oechsle - 309° Oechsle

Acid value: 6,0 - 11,5 g/l

Harvest period: 26th September 2005 - 16th January 2006

The wines: Fine and aromatic fruit acid.

Highlights: Icewine with 205° oechsle on the 16th of january 2006. Trockenbeerenauslesen with up to 309°oechsle
