Harvest report Rheingau Estate 2004


Growing season: On easter, after a relatively dry winter, the first shoots became apparent. The first buds opened in our best vineyard sites in the beginning of june, the following florescence completed in all vineyards until the end of july.

Must weight: 88° - 182° Oechsle

Acid value: 6,0 - 11,0 g/l

Harvest period: 28th of September until the 21st of December 2004

The wines: Fine and aromatic fruit acid, very good quality.

Highlights: Icewine from the Rüdesheimer Berg Rottland with 178° oechsle on the 21st of december 2004; Beerenauslese with 182° oechsle
