Harvest report Mosel Estate 2008


Growing season: After the shoot in the beginning of May, the vine took the ideal conditions within the following weeks for rapid growing. Despite of the cool summer months the ripening process startet in the middle of August. A dry and notedly cool fall let enough time for the vine to ripen. Until the end of the harvest we were able to reap absolutely healthy grapes. 

Must weight: 80° Oechsle - 110° Oechsle

Acid value: 7,5 - 9,9 g/l

Harvest period: October 8th - November 7th 2008

The wines: Fruity wines with a godd minerality, very clear, healthy grapes.
