Harvest report Mosel Estate 2005


Growing season: In the Moselle valley we had a relatively warm and dry summer. The harvest brought us ripe and healthy grapes. With a crop of about 5.900 liter per hectare, the vintage is shortly under the average of the last 5 years. 

Must weight: 81° Oechsle - 208° Oechsle

Acid value: 6,8 - 10,0 g/l

Harvest period: 10th October -  3rd November 2005

The wines: Fruity, concentrated wines with a well balanced acidity. 

Highlights: Trockenbeerenauslese from the Bernkasteler Doctor vineyard with 208° Oechlse
