Harvest report Mosel Estate 2004


Growing season: The early florescence in spring has been relativized by a cool period in June. In fall the mild and dry wheater showed almost mediterranean temperatures.

Must weight: 74° Oechsle - 145° Oechsle

Acid value: 8,5 - 14,0 g/l

Harvest period: 6th October - 21st December 2004

The wines: Fruity, clear wines with a fine acidity, very healthy grapes.

Highlights: Icewine from the Bernkasteler Doctor vineyard with 145° Oechlse, picked on the 21st of December (solstice).
